Sarajevo is the only city in the country which had daire (merchandize storage made in stone). Out of the three "daire” storages, the one called "Grand Daire” was built in 1776 by a merchant called Hajji Ibrahim. The structure was built by stone-carvers from Dubrovnik. Today, the daire is a home to a unique museum collection established to cherish traditional Bosnian parlor song – sevdalinka (ar. sevdah – love ecstasy,   yearning). The museum features music records, instruments, traditional dance attire and other items with several rooms dedicated to some of the greatest sevdah performers.
